DND is going to take on a new look this year as it will be led by students who have served in leadership within the SWTC Youth Ministry. DND is open to all high school and college students, ages 15 to 21, in the Southwest Texas Conference. For General Questions about DND. Contact Lillie Davis, DND Director, at 512.734.2412.
The DND11 Speaker was Todd Jones, age 19, and is a former SWTC Summer Servant Team Chaplain and student at the University of Texas. Todd is exploring a call to ministry, involved in the Wesley Foundation at UT, and has strong ties to the United Methodist Church.
The DND11 Worship Leader was Spencer Thomas, age 19. Spencer is a former SWTC Summer Intern, Camp Director and also exploring a call to ministry. Spencer has a love for music and is a newly developed worship leader. He brings with him a passion for Jesus Christ and desires to be in Gods presence and encourage others to join in this journey.

The Beginning
During a Southwest Texas Conference Youth Council meeting in the Spring of 2006, a couple of student leaders dreamed up having a dedicated retreat for those serious about growing in Christ. After much discussion and planning, the entire group agreed and Dive N Deeper (DND) began to take shape.
The Purpose
DND is for those students who have been identified by their pastor and youth director as leaders in their church, youth group, and conference events. DND is intended to build up the student leader in faith, hope, and love.
The Target
DND is for students in high school or college, ages 15 to 21, who want to grow more in their relationship with God, serve Christ, and in become a Christian leader in the world.
The Cost
DND costs $80 per participant. Scholarship assistance is available through contacting the Office of Youth Ministry 210.408.4510. Refunds are for emergencies only and exclude a $10 processing fee.
The Packing List
Please bring bedding, several changes of clothes, personal toiletries, a Bible, notebook, pencil, sun screen, and a flash light. Showers might not be possible. Although most of us are use to showering everyday doing without showers helps us relate to those living on the streets.
