What's New about MW10?
The new and exciting programming difference of Midwinter10 will include a Midwinter "Plus", a "Classic", and a "Mix" weekend. We will program specifically for each weekend.
The Midwinter Plus includes Sr. High students (9th to 12th grades) for an extended 4-day weekend. These held at the HEB Foundation site "Echo Valley." These weekends will have more worship, more teaching, and longer than the traditional Midwinter - but at the same price. They will encourage students to grow deeper in Christ and continue their faithful discipleship in serving God and the Church.
The Midwinter Classic is for Jr. High students (6th to 8th grade) who want to experience the traditional and exciting experience of a Midwinter. These retreat will be at Mt. Wesley and serve as an introductory weekend to Midwinters, who Jesus Christ is, and how to join the movement of God in the United Methodist Church.
The Midwinter Mix is a brand new concept including both Jr. and Sr. High students on the same weekend. Small groups, rooming assignments and even theme rooms will be separated by age group, but meals, recreation time and worship will be together. The "Mix" weekend will be at Mt. Wesley and will encourage all ages to grow together, building excitement and enthusiam to be who Christ is calling us to be.
