Jr. High River Camp
Grades 6th thru 8th.
July 11-15, 10 - $250 - HEB Foundation Camp - Linnets Wings
Speaker:  Rev. Ray Altman. Worship Leader: The Progeny Band

CAMP HIGHLIGHTS: Awesome worship, swim in the river, meet folks from other churches, intramurals, dodgeball, volleyball, small groups, new friends, renew your relationship with Christ. A camping experience in the outdoors and a "see God in nature" type of week.


Sr. High River Camp

Grades 9th thru 12th.
July 11-15, 10 - $250 - HEB Foundation Camp, Comanche Outpost, near Leakey TX
Speaker: Rev. Ray Altman. Worship Leader: The Progeny Band
CAMP HIGHLIGHTS: Inspiring worship, river walks, Blue Hole swims, long hikes, basketball, camp fires, Camo Night (bring camouflage to wear), small groups, develop your friendship with Jesus. An outdoor camping experience full of encouragement, intimacy with God, and making new friends.

What is our Purpose?
Our purpose is to "Reach Youth 4 Christ." We do this through exciting worship, engaging speakers, energizing small groups, and extreme fun in a Christ-filled environment.

Cost / Scholarships / Registration
Cost is $250 at all camps. Scholarships are available at the District or Conference offices or by contacting your local church pastor or youth leader. Deadline for registration is 10 working days prior to start of camp. Late registrations must pay an extra $20.  Refunds are for emergencies only and exclude a $20 processing fee. 

Age Requirement
Jr. High camps include youths entering 6th, 7th and 8th grades. Sr. High camps are for youths entering 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades. All camps begin at 6 PM on start date & end at noon on last day.  

Adults Sponsors / Staff / Servant Team
Adults (college age and older) are welcome but not required to attend with youth from their church. All who wish to serve must complete a Camp Registration Form and a SWTC background check, pass the
Child Protection Training course, contact the SWTC Director of Youth Ministries (see contact info below), attend a pre-camp meeting, and be a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ. Pre-approved Staff attend at $125 each. The Servant Team will serve along side of all staff but will be given more responsibility and leadership opportunities. 

Those wishing to serve JC's (Junior Counselors) must also inquire through Rusty Freeman or Becky Jackson. Camps will be limited to 6 JC's per camp (3 per HEB Camp) and 6 at MY Mission. JC's are limited to serving at a total of two camps. Each JC must complete a Letter of Agreement, Background Check, and understand the roles and responsibilities of being on staff. JC's will also pay the staff registration fee.

What To/Not To Bring
Please bring bedding, personal toiletries, modest swim wear (no two piece or halter tops), clothes to get dirty, a Bible, notebook, pencil, sun screen, flash light, shoes for hiking, pennies for Youth Service Fund, $5 for camp shirt, bug repellent, camera and hat. It is best not to bring the following items: water balloons, water guns, CD players, iPODS, cell phones, pocket knives, lots of money, jewelry, or candy.

FOR HEB CAMPS ONLY: Bring a box fan that you can put in the cabin with you, plus an extension chord and power strip. These cabins are rustic and with no AC! Bug spray and lots of sunscreen are also suggested!
