Purpose
Youth Worship Conference is a music, arts and drama, worship-oriented weekend for youth. It’s a brand new, multi-faceted experience to develop passionate worshippers. YWC is geared for students ages 12 to 18 (6th thru 12th grade) who want to grow in practical skills as well as develop a heart for worship leading and participating. It is a Holy Spirit encounter in reawakening our passion for Christ. Join Ben Toalson & Progeny, the Rev. Ryan Barnett, and the Mark Swayze Band for an awesome time of worship and renewal!
Registration & Refunds
Registration Fee is $50 for youth and adults and includes all meals and a t-shirt. Early Registration Deadline is Monday, April 5, 2010. For all registrations submitted after 4.5.10 please add an extra $10. This fee does not include hotel accommodations. Local church participants are responsible for booking hotel accommodations.

Refunds are for emergencies only and exclude a $10 processing fee. If possible, please send one check for all registrants. Checks should be made payable to: SWTC Treasurer, Attn: Youth Worship Conference, 16400 Huebner Rd., San Antonio TX 78248.
Scholarships
The SWTC offers $25 scholarships to those in need. For assistance please contact Rusty Freeman at the SWTC Office of Youth Ministry, 210.408.4510 / rhf143@aol.com, or your local church youth director or pastor.
Location & Directions
Youth Worship Conference begins Friday, April 16, 2010 at 7 PM at the First United Methodist Church, 205 James St, Boerne, TX, 78006. 830.249.2565. (Friday dinner not included). It concludes at noon on Sunday, April 18, 2010 (sack lunch on Sunday will be provided). FUMC is just one block off Main Street in Boerne. From Main Street: turn east on James Street. From River Road, turn north on Pecan Street and go one block. From San Antonio: Take Interstate 10 West to the US Highway 87 exit. Take Hwy 87 (Main Street) north, across the Cibolo Creek and turn right at James Street. Go east one block. From New Braunfels: Take State Highway 46 west. In Boerne, turn right one block before Main Street at Pecan Street. Go north one block. From Fredericksburg and Kerrville: Take Interstate 10 East to the US Highway 87 exit. Take Hwy 87 (Main Street) south and turn left at James Street. Go east one block.

Workshops
Each participant, youth or adult, will be given the opportunity to sign up for 3 Workshop Sessions on the registration form. The Sessions will be one hour in length and offer both a practical and theoretical instruction. Some provide a hands on experience while others teach passion. The purpose of each is to renew a heart for worshipping God. (Individual instruments are not required.)

Sponsors
All Churches must bring sponsors who have been cleared through the SWTC Background Safety Check & watched the Child Protection Training video (available at www.reachingyouth.org). This is a state, Conference, and local church policy. Background checks must be renewed every 2 years. Sponsors are required to attend with youth from their church and abide by a 1 adults to 5 students ratio.
